Am I mistaken or did someone in the crowd throw something on the pitch in front of him just as he was lining up to take it?
Even though they lost, that is one of the best moments in hurling I’ve seen. Literally the last few seconds and scoring from a sideline at that angle
This was wild – I streamed it for a couple of my mates who never heard of hurling (I live abroad) and they were blown away at this point. The whole match was crazy.
Tony Kelly is one of the greatest hurlers I’ve ever seen. This was probably his highlight but some of his other scores today were supernatural too.
