Zelensky Criticised By Cypriot President For Not Mentioning Invasion Of Cyprus During Parliament Address

  1. No offence but this is very inappropriate and very detrimental to possible future diplomatic friendship and alliances. Ukraine is currently fighting for its very existence. War crimes are abundant and its infrastructure is ruined. The aid given to Ukraine by Turkey has been vital to its success and continued resistance, and the Cypriot President thinks this is a good opportunity to put Ukraine in an odd spot and try to force it to condemn one of the countries at the forefront of the diplomatic talks with Russia and supporter of its resistance?

He is not making friends here. This made Cyprus look bad, not Ukraine.

  2. The invasion of Cyprus is nothing like the invasion of Ukraine.

Perhaps Anastasiades should bring up the law firm he founded which was hiding Russian assets?

  3. The man’s trying to win a war and one of the most effective weapons he has is Turkish drones. Are we really expecting him to bite the hand that feeds?
