I thought basically all forward stopping power comes from front brake on a motorbike and the back brake is mainly for balance and slow speeds?

I was on one of the new bus routes (N6) in North Dublin and witnessed one nearly knock down a 5 year old girl who ran out of her garden to chase a football. The twat basically went onto the footpath to avoid the bus and other cars. It’s seriously getting out of hand.
