The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Afghanistan’s national buzkashi
team defeated Hungary 14-0 on Tuesday in their opening match of the World
Kokpar Championship in Kazakhstan.

Afghan players controlled the game from the outset,
maintaining dominance throughout the match and building a decisive lead. The
victory marks a strong start for Afghanistan in the tournament.

The team is scheduled to face Mongolia and Russia in
upcoming matches, which will help determine final standings.

This year’s competition features nine participating
countries, and based on their opening performance, Afghanistan has emerged as
one of the leading contenders in the tournament.
