“We are working to ensure that no clash between the two countries resumes, that contacts are established between the peoples, and we want to move forward along this path,” said U.S. Vice President James David Vance at a joint press conference held after his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku, APA reports.
Touching upon the steps taken toward peace, the Vice President added: “For this, great thanks are due to President Ilham Aliyev.”
Expressing confidence that the implementation of the peace agreement will create stability in the future and prevent conflict, James David Vance described this as a manifestation of President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership qualities.
