The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Syria’s Foreign Ministry has
welcomed the announcement of a temporary ceasefire between the Taliban and
Pakistan on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, describing it as a positive step
toward reducing violence.
In a statement, the ministry emphasized that regional
coordination and dialogue are essential for achieving peace and stability.
The remarks come amid broader regional calls for
de-escalation and efforts to promote stability through diplomatic engagement.
