Anybody ever had this same experience? Buy something for 20 € nd 370 € from your account…. And it’s normal apparently
Been this way forever, and to be honest a very good way of preventing theft.
It has always been like that for the automatic payment terminals. And yes, it’s totally normal, because you COULD take enough gas for a very big amount.
Otherwise, in unmanned stations, people would just drive up, gas up, get out.
People really need to start holding old school banks in Belgium accountable for the poor information they give.
Since having N26 as my bank, about 5 years, I would see this as well.
Gas station takes 125 euro on hold, then I tank for lets say 80 euros. The station then gives back 45 euros. This all happens in a matter of seconds. No delays of days, at least for my N26 bank…
I remember having BNP, and stuff would only show up 1-2 says after the transaction.
