EAST WALNUT HILLS, Ohio (WKRC) – A section of East Walnut Hills will be closed to through traffic from the afternoon of Friday, March 20 through the evening of Sunday, March 22.
The following road and sidewalk closures will be in place:
William Howard Taft Road between Torrence Parkway and East McMillan StreetCollins Avenue between Riverside Drive and William Howard Taft RoadGladstone Avenue, Taft Road Lane, and Heatherhill Lane
Residents who live within the area where roads are closed will be able to access their neighborhood through one of three, marked security checkpoints:
William Howard Taft Road and Torrence ParkwayWilliam Howard Taft Road and E McMillan StreetRiverside Drive and Collins Ave. – pedestrian entry only

Delivery drivers and other commercial services can also use the checkpoints.
Drivers are encouraged to use Torrence Parkway, Madison Road, and Woodburn Avenue while the closures are in place.
The city of Cincinnati announced the road closures. Officials never say why they’re in place but Vice President JD Vance’s home is within the closed area.
