The 15th artist in our Who Is series for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is Lion Ceccah from Lithuania.
Tomas Alenčikas, better known as Lion Ceccah, was born on August 1, 1991 in Vilnius. As a child, he studied violin, ballroom and street dance. He studied musical theatre at Vilnius College and then completed a Masters at the Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas.
In 2017, Alenčikas took part in the fifth season of X Faktorius under his first stage name Alen Chicco. He finished fourth overall. In 2018, he released his debut single “Aš čia”. He later went on to found Studio 91, a creative space which hosted exhibitions, performances and the first drag art workshops in Lithuania. Lion Ceccah has since became one of the most prominent figures in the Lithuanian drag scene.
Lion Ceccah has attempted to represent Lithuania at Eurovision on multiple occasions. In 2019, he participated in the Lithuanian national selection with “Your Cure” and finished fifth in the final. In 2020, he reached the semi-finals with “Somewhere Out There”. In 2025, now performing under Lion Ceccah, he finished second in the final with “Drobė”.
Lion Ceccah was selected to represent Lithuania at Eurovision 2026 after winning Eurovizija.LT 2026. He finished second in the jury vote and first in the public vote.
The song that Lion Ceccah will perform in Vienna is called “Sólo quiero más” (I just want more). It was written and composed by Aurimas Galvelis and Lion Ceccah himself.
Lion Ceccah will perform in the second half of the first semi-final at the contest on May 12.
Lithuania debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994. However, their debut appearance saw Lithuania finish in last place with nul points. Lithuania didn’t return to the contest until 1999 when Aiste finished 20th with the song “Strazdas”. Lithuania’s best result came in 2006 when LT United performed “We Are The Winners”. They finished 6th in the final with a total of 162 points. Lithuania has only finished in the top 10 on two other occasions: in 2016 with “I’ve Been Waiting For This Night” by Donny Montell and in 2021 with “Discoteque” by The Roop.
