Guardian AI, a South Korean industrial safety artificial intelligence (AI) company, has joined hands with U.S. cybersecurity company Jericho Security to combine autonomous robots and AI security to target the U.S. security market. Its strategy is to build a ‘Full Stack AI Security’ model that encompasses real physical space beyond digital areas.

GuardianAI and Jericho Security announced on the 19th (local time) that they will combine Jericho Security’s AI-based cybersecurity software, GuardianAI’s self-driving patrol robot, and industrial site safety AI technology through this cooperation. The key is to implement an integrated security system by adding robot-based monitoring and safety management functions operating in offline sites to software security that is strong in responding to online threats such as email, text, voice, and deepfake.

This collaboration is noteworthy in that there is a high possibility of actual commercialization beyond simple business agreements (MOUs). Jericho Security said it is already working on a security patrol robot project for customers in the defense sector and major companies, and based on this, the two companies are continuing detailed business discussions and contract discussions in the North American market.

Guardian AI is pushing for patrol robots to enter the North American market based on cooperation with domestic auto parts and mobility manufacturing partners. Through this cooperation, the company plans to speed up market expansion by utilizing local networks and customer contacts owned by Jericho Security. Currently, discussions are underway on the premise of actual introduction to North American customers.

Jericho Security also plans to expand its business area through this cooperation. Previously, it operated an AI security platform focused on responding to e-mail, message, and voice-based phishing attacks, but its strategy is to expand its position to a “physical AI security company” that provides both cybersecurity and physical security by combining autonomous robots in the future.

The background of GuardianAI’s choice as a partner is both manufacturing competitiveness and software capabilities. It has secured price competitiveness and product completeness through a joint production system with major domestic manufacturers, and has advanced algorithms such as detection of risk situations and analysis of abnormal behavior based on data accumulated at manufacturing plants, construction sites, and distribution centers.

Lee Sang-hun, CEO of GuardianAI, said, “We participated in the startup program co-hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Nvidia Korea and ranked second among 34 teams, and we were also selected as a company to present technology cases at Nvidia headquarters.” “We will enter the market by combining physical security robots with existing cybersecurity customer bases through cooperation with Jericho Security.”

“The trend of combining cybersecurity and physical security as one is becoming clear,” said Tim Hwang, CEO of Jericho Security, at the event. “We are working with GuardianAI to build integrated security technology that can be applied to U.S. industrial sites to respond to these changes.”

GuardianAI is developing an industrial safety platform that combines autonomous robots, AI image analysis, and digital twin technology, and provides an integrated solution that detects risk factors in real time and connects them to responses. In 2025, it attracted investment from Seyes 24 Group and KCGI based on the Sampyo Group demonstration project. It was also recognized for its technological prowess, such as being selected as a company to present the Nvidia GTC 2026 poster.

Based on its AI phishing response platform, Jericho Security recorded $3.24 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within a year of its launch and grew 1103% year-on-year.
