I’m immediately suspicious of the focus of this story given recent events in the US. Am I being paranoid?
Were these remains that women were going to claim?
Beyond it being manky, I’m struggling to see who is affected here if not.
>Pregnancy remains which should have been stored in a freezer were left in an unsecured cupboard at an abortion clinic, care inspectors have found.
The biggest issue seems to be the hygiene risk. If they’re not properly storing and disposing of human waste then there’s an implied risk of them not being clean elsewhere especially as this stuff can contaminate the area rapidly if not carefully stored.
A scandal but a modest one as far as risks could have been. Still unacceptable but not outrage worthy.
