I mean Germany (and most of the West) already did, just that now there is even more of a need to get it done quickly.
Sounds like a good idea. While it’s less urgent than getting rid of the dependencies on Russia, being dependent on China is problematic as well. Who knows what will happen. There should at least always be the option of buying elsewhere.
