PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Pigeon Forge Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire at French’s Shoes and Boots on Sunday.
It happened around 5:20 p.m.
City officials said when firefighters got there, they encountered heavy smoke and visible fire conditions. The fire was successfully extinguished, and damage was contained to a limited portion of the business.
At the time of the fire, the business was open. All employees and customers were safely evacuated.
No injuries have been reported at this time, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
