Was at Vindolanda recently and saw some of the new dig. The place has really grown since I visited as a kid.

I bet you will find some in the Pyramids of Giza or in ancient temples around the world too. We think of teenage boys as immature for doing it but it is clearly an integral part of humanity if it has seemingly been part of our history for so long.
