Light snow is expected in Luxembourg on Thursday and Friday, marking a brief return to wintry conditions after several days of mild weather.
MeteoLux, Luxembourg’s national weather service, said snow could begin falling Thursday afternoon and continue into the evening, following a rainy start to the day. Accumulation is expected to be limited, with “light snow” forecast.

Temperatures are set to drop significantly. On Thursday, lows are expected to range between -1°C and 1°C, with highs of just 2°C to 4°C.
A similar pattern is forecast for Friday, with cloudy skies, light rain during the day and snowfall later on. Temperatures will remain low, with minimums between -1°C and 1°C and maximums of 3°C to 5°C.
The colder spell follows a milder start to the week. On Monday and Tuesday, temperatures are expected to reach between 12°C and 14°C, with lows of 0°C to 2°C.
Conditions will begin to cool on Wednesday, when highs are forecast to fall to between 7°C and 9°C, paving the way for the return of snow later in the week.
