The Kabul Tribune (KT) – The Taliban Consul General in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mohibullah Shakir, met with former Interior Minister and Qaumi Watan Party leader Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao to discuss the challenges faced by Afghan refugees in Pakistan, including the reopening of border crossings.
According to a statement from the Taliban consulate, both sides highlighted the need for mutual understanding and expressed willingness to cooperate on these issues.
Shakir also held a separate meeting with former Information Minister and senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif. The two discussed similar concerns and emphasized the importance of cooperation and shared understanding.
