Hi . I’m planning to visit Austria by car to see alps. I have no idea what I’m doing in terms of planning anything… and need some help.
Top of Tyrol is probably on top of the list to see. How do I get there . [Here](https://www.stubaier-gletscher.com/en/stubai-live/open-lifts/) it says all lifts are closed this month. How do I get there , is it far to go with kids 10&13 ?

Why do you want to go to this mountain specificly?
If the lifts are closed, it is far too exhausting and dangerous to go up there by yourselves. It is a glacier after all. Don’t do it!
If you like a great view, just take the cable car up to Hafelekar in Innsbruck.
Just go somewhere else in Tyrol and take a Lift there. The view is great almost anywhere, as long as the weather is good.
If you have to ask whether or not you can go up there with your kids, you don’t seem to have any mountaineering experience. Do not(!!) just go for a hike, or else you will be just another idiotic tourist family who needs to be rescued halfway up the mountain. Do not put yourself, your kids and the Mountain Rescuer’s health and life in danger.
