Decent Euros, ruined by UEFA’s crazy decision to have head to head prioritise over GD.
I don’t like H2H but I guess I can see how it makes sense in a full league competition. But in a 4 team group? It has to be GD. Unconditionally.
I was there. Took three weeks off of work. Had an old friend join me. We travelled Poland and Ukraine. We did the old (now gone I think?) “Couch Surfing” as well as hotels.
Absolutely once in a lifetime glorious, fun, beautiful, thirsty, tasty, adventure.
Good memories. Still have my Poland vs Greece ticket.

I remember the time me and my mum were driving to Zwierzyniec, życia na wsi with the weather all sunny and hot, listening to Endless Summer. What good times.
Damn. I still remember that hype of that Europe cup, cuz ya know. It was placed in Poland.
Ehhh. And I feel also kinda old, thinking that year 2012 was whole decade ago.
And also that’s kinda sad but beautiful in same time. Ten years ago, Poland and Ukraine had fun playing soccer. Now 10 years later, Poland is helping Ukraine in war. Brotherhood…..

I również to trochę smutne, a piękne zarazem. Dziesięć lat temu, Polska z Ukrainą bawiły się w piłce nożnej. Teraz po 10 latach, Polska pomaga Ukrainie na wojnie. Braterstwo….
