The Let Cuba Live youth brigade joined hundreds of peace activists in Havana last week, delivering urgently needed humanitarian aid as the island grapples with a US-driven economic and fuel crisis.

Forty participants travelled via Miami, currently the only US gateway to Havana, according to organisers. The group raised more than $5,000 to provide solar panels and generators to help keep Cuban hospitals running.
