Demonstration Alert: U.S. Embassy, Rome, Italy, March 26 & 28, 2026

Location:  Rome, Italy

Event:  On Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., a demonstration is scheduled to occur near U.S. Embassy Rome at the corner of Via L. Bissolati and Via Veneto.  Approximately 100 demonstrators are expected, and police will maintain a strong presence throughout the event.

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m., a demonstration is scheduled to assemble at Piazza della Repubblicca and march toward Piazza di Porta San Giovanni.  The demonstration is expected to end at approximately 8:00 p.m.  Approximately 15,000 demonstrators are expected, and police will maintain a strong presence throughout the event.

Local authorities may increase security measures, including road closures, traffic restrictions, or increased police presence in areas where demonstrations occur.

Avoid demonstrations and crowds.
Avoid the area around the U.S. Embassy.
