> The Candle of Grace charity evacuated more than 90 children from the Chernobyl area in early May. Irish authorities were unaware of the plan until the group landed at Dublin Airport.
Fucking gobshites, I understand the desire to help but sometimes we do harm when we try to do good.
A third party brining in unaccompanied children alone is child trafficking. It is really opening the door to many risks.
That Lily Luzan one should be in a Garda cell for this.
“The founder of Candle of Grace, Lily Luzan, said she has contacted the parents of almost 60 unaccompanied minors who travelled here, to alert them about the latest developments.”
Very nice of her, take their kids as far away in Europe as possible without a plan or place for them to stay!!
Why not take them the Lviv, or just past the polish border?
How such an idiotic move could be made by a CEO of a charity says a lot about our thousands of ‘Charities’ registered
Well, it’s regrettable but many of us did warn that things like this would likely occur given the lack of planning and the overly optimistic ideas people had about the numbers we could take.
This was entirely avoidable but we do everything backwards in this country.
