Police have cordoned off the accident area, just north of the city of Kouvola on the Savistontie road.
The rescue services of Kymenlaakso received a report about the accident shortly after 10am on Sunday.
Very few details about the incident had been announced by around midday on Sunday.
Local rescue services said that the police would provide information about the matter.
