JERUSALEM, Israel — This year’s Resurrection Sunday service from the Garden Tomb will not be broadcast live due to ongoing security concerns during the war with Iran.

Israeli authorities have limited public gatherings to just 50 people, especially in areas without immediate access to bomb shelters. The Garden Tomb, a key Christian site believed by many to mark the location of Jesus’ burial and resurrection, does not have a nearby protected shelter, making a live gathering unsafe.

As a result, CBN and the Garden Tomb team pre-recorded the service in advance. The special broadcast will air Sunday morning, allowing viewers around the world to still take part in the celebration of the resurrection despite the restrictions.

The change reflects the reality on the ground in Jerusalem, where both Passover and Easter observances are being held under the shadow of war and ongoing missile threats.

As Christians mark the resurrection, many are also praying for Israel — for peace and protection — and for the Iranian people to experience freedom from the Islamic regime.

During this time, your support makes a difference. Please consider giving to CBN and the Garden Tomb as they continue to share the message of the resurrection from Jerusalem.
