Latvia is moving to expand its naval capabilities with a new multi-role offshore platform designed to address modern maritime security challenges and emerging threats.
The vessel, dubbed the LNT-27 tactical catamaran, is reportedly being developed as a high-speed, stable, and efficient maritime platform suited to a wide range of operational roles.
It features an architecture intended to improve transit speed while maintaining stability, particularly in unpredictable sea conditions.
