King Charles III might banish ex-Prince Andrew to a caravan if his demands about his new home persist, a new report claims. According to RadarOnline, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is preparing to move into Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate after leaving Royal Lodge earlier this year. However, sources say King Charles is increasingly frustrated with his brother’s requests and could relegate him to a more modest setup.

The caravan on Marsh Farm was installed for staff relocated after Royal Lodge downsizing, which offered far more space.

King Charles III “Unwilling to Fund” Ex-Prince Andrew’s Demands

Tensions are reportedly escalating within the monarchy over the cost and scale of Mountbatten-Windsor’s demands for refurbishments, furnishings, and item transfers from Royal Lodge. This comes as King Charles seeks to curb royal expenditure.

A palace source told RadarOnline, “Charles is on the verge of banishing Andrew into a caravan if he doesn’t stop making demands about his new home—that is how strained things have become.”

“The King is angry and increasingly unwilling to fund what are seen as excessive requests, particularly given the circumstances that led to Andrew’s removal from Royal Lodge,” the source added. Another insider noted the caravan warning is being taken seriously, signaling Charles’s firm stance that “enough is enough.”

According to reports, Andrew demanded Royal Lodge curtains be relocated and altered for Marsh Farm, with King Charles footing the bill. Thousands more were spent transporting artwork from his former residence.

A source told RadarOnline that Charles’s frustration mounts, having already covered significant costs and unwilling to fund further requests. “There is a clear line being drawn—Charles is not willing to bankroll what he sees as unnecessary extras, particularly given the wider circumstances surrounding Andrew’s situation,” the source said.

Another insider noted Andrew insists on “the highest standard in everything,” but the King’s patience wears thin. The crown signals Andrew must “dial back his expectations and come to terms with a far more modest arrangement.”

King Charles Frustrated With Prince Andrew’s Continued Presence on Wood Farm, Says Source

Mountbatten-Windsor currently resides at Wood Farm, a property King Charles prefers for visiting guests, causing further frustration. A source revealed urgency to vacate it, warning Andrew risks basic accommodation like a caravan if he doesn’t comply.

“There is increasing urgency around vacating Wood Farm, particularly if the space is needed for guests, and the King is unlikely to hesitate if a decision has to be made,” the insider said. “If Andrew continues to hold things up, there is a genuine sense he could find himself with far more basic accommodation, even a caravan, if he is not careful and does not learn when to shut his mouth. But that has never been his forte.”

Andrew’s prospects dim amid increased scrutiny over his past connections with disgraced financier and convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein. The royal family distanced itself after Virginia Giuffre’s 2021 accusations and her memoir Nobody’s Girl. Charles stripped Andrew’s titles and duties in 2025.

Worsening matters, police arrested the 66-year-old from Wood Farm in February on suspicion of “misconduct in public office,” holding him for nearly 11 hours before release.
