Unspecified talent involved in the production of the upcoming movie The Mandalorian and Grogu are set to appear in Berlin, Germany as part of the May the Fourth Be With You fan holiday. The news was unveiled by the official Star Wars Instagram account of Germany.

Yesterday, a new Instagram message with art that features Grogu’s green little profile was posted online. The post promoted the a new public event as marketing for The Mandalorian and Grogu begins to pick up in earnest. Though the text in the post is German, it roughly translates to the following in English:

“The galaxy is calling. Are you in? The filmmakers and cast of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu are coming to Berlin on May 4th for an exclusive fan celebration. May the Fourth be with you! All the info is available via the link in our bio.”

In all likelihood, Jon Favreau is the filmmaker in question, but what cast members will appear to promote the film are unclear at this time – aside from lead actor Pedro Pascal and the Grogu puppet, who aren’t confirmed, but seem like givens. Sigourney Weaver has been frequently seen in relation to promoting the film, so it’s possible that she appears as well.

The Mandalorian and Grogu will be released in theaters on May 22, 2026. The film is directed by Jon Favreau, who also co-wrote the script with Dave Filoni. The film stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward, and Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, and Grogu as himself, among others. Ludwig Göransson, who recently received his third Oscar, composed the film’s score. Former Lucasfilm CEO Kathleen Kennedy and Ian Bryce will also produce alongside Filoni and Favreau.
