The Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania, Juozas Olekas, has delivered another package of assistance to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR).
According to Ukrinform, HUR announced this on Facebook.
On March 31, a delegation from Lithuania led by Olekas handed over a new batch of aid to Ukraine’s military intelligence.
The delegation included the Speaker’s adviser, General Saulius Stripeika, Lithuania’s Ambassador to Ukraine Inga Stanyte-Tolockiene, as well as representatives of the Lithuanian parliament, diplomatic corps, volunteer organizations, and business community.
In Kyiv, the Lithuanian partners met with HUR representative Andrii Yusov.
Olekas said that Lithuania had stood and would continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine, emphasizing that support for Ukraine is a matter of principle rather than choice.
Yusov, in turn, expressed gratitude to Lithuania’s embassy team, volunteers, citizens, and members of Lithuania’s Defense Forces, noting that such support is of great importance to Ukrainian troops and the entire nation.

The HUR representative presented Lithuanian partners with military intelligence insignia, the book “The HUR Island. Secrets. Operations. War” by Maksym Butchenko, and a note of appreciation from the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
The HUR noted that Ukraine and Lithuania maintain strong and ongoing cooperation, including not only material support for Ukraine’s military but also joint participation in international strategic communications conferences, where both sides exchange experience in information work during wartime.
