Denmark based European Energy has divested the Jonava hybrid renewable energy project in Lithuania to Energix – Renewable Energies. The project has a planned capacity of approximately 470 MW combining wind, solar, and storage. The development includes around 140 MW of onshore wind, 330 MW solar PV and 320 MWh battery storage. Construction is expected to begin shortly, with commercial operation targeted for 2027. The project was advanced using European Energy’s integrated development model from early-stage to ready-to-build. The hybrid configuration supports grid stability and infrastructure utilization. The transaction strengthens European Energy’s portfolio of large-scale renewable project deliveries across Europe.
