I’m of the opinion vaccines should be mandatory, but let’s not make a strawman out their reasoning.
Polio vaccine has been around for a long time, while covid is relatively new. Their reasoning is that covid vaccines are experimental and that nog enough research has been done (which is wrong btw) to make it mandatory. We should focus on this part and explain why they are wrong. The people who think all vaccines are bad are total nutjobs though and are probably completely lost.
If only covid-19 was as dangerous to children as Polio.
Comparing COVID to Polio is like comparing the seasonal Flu to COVID.

Polio vaccines were made mandatory wait for it……….16 years after they were invented. And there are other reasons these diseases or vaccines shouldn’t be compared like this. Think mortality, vaccine effectiveness,… I’m sure there’s more.
All fine by me, but the following questions bother me:
– How come that vaccinated people test positive and sometimes are sick for a day or 2. Booster shots also do not make sense to me. I thought that the whole point of a vaccine is to make someone immune. I think the state should ask for a refund.
– Covid is a lot more deadlier than Flu (about 4 – 6 times I believe), I vaccinate myself against Flu because fuck that shit. Would flu shot become mandatory as well?
– How are they gonna enforce it? And are we becoming a police state? Can we avoid going over the line?
– It’s normal that more people get sick in the winter. But working from home again, rly? How convenient is that it just falls in the periode where we have to heat our homes. Energy is heavier taxes for us so for the government this is great. Call me a conspiracy theorist I don’t care.
– How long are we gonna be fucked with covid. We are almost at the 2 year mark, I do not live long enough for this shit. Average age is 80. So 2.5% of our life is spend is this dystopian confusing system. And the disgusting part is that some people seem to enjoy the mizerie. I follow all the rules get vaccinated and shit, expecting something in return.
– Will they forbid us to celebrate christmas again? Call me ignorant, but my grandparents aren’t gonna get any younger.
– Will they forbid sports to again? Oh wait, no they will let us play outdoor beach volley in 4C great … (I play indoor volley).
Both vaccines don’t have the same retrospective on efficiency and long term effects.
Let’s do like Singapour, people who don’t get vaccinated don’t get healthcare coverage… Oh and it’s not that far fetched because if you don’t go to the dentist once a year, you are not reimbursed
