LISBON, Conn. (WFSB) – A man was killed in a collision on Interstate 395 northbound in Lisbon on early Saturday morning.
Troopers were called to the area of I-395 northbound in the area of Exit 19 after a report of a two-vehicle crash, according to state police.
The driver of one of the vehicles, identified as 26-year-old Keith Mutch of Lisbon collided with the rear end of a JEEP.
Officials said Mutch was ejected from his vehicle and was pronounced dead on scene.
The driver and passenger of the JEEP were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The crash shut down I-395 in both directions.
The highway was closed at northbound Exit 19 and southbound Exit 21 for an extended period of time.
This crash remains under investigation at this time.
No further details were released.
