Last week the other two episodes were released. In that batch of episodes God told Rebekah that her older twin son would serve the younger and Isaac stood by that the older Esau was the rightful heir. However, as the boys grew into men, Rebekah was more adamant than ever that Jacob was most deserving, just as God told her. Then, when war broke out with a neighboring faction because of Esau’s indiscretions, Rebekah realized that she must defy and deceive Isaac to fulfill God’s plan to ensure that Jacob became the rightful heir.
