OutSystems unveils ‘agentic systems engineering’ for governance-based agentic AI

[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] AI-based low-code development platform company OutSystems said on Sunday it will unveil ‘agentic systems engineering (OutSystems Agentic Systems Engineering)’ to support the development and management of agentic systems for OutSystems.

The company said agentic systems engineering, based on the OutSystems Enterprise Context Graph, provides the context and guardrails needed for agents to operate effectively even in complex system environments where it is difficult to grasp the overall structure.

The Enterprise Context Graph expands OutSystems’ proprietary context-based architecture and helps agents operate effectively across complex systems. It also enables real-time identification of enterprise architecture, including interrelationships among applications, agents, workflows and data. This allows companies to implement the potential of agent technology in their business, the company said.

OutSystems CEO Woods Martin (우드스 마틴) said, “AI is driving change across more tools and domains than ever, but companies must still be able to apply it in real operating environments with governance and security in place.” He said, “Agentic systems engineering is an approach to solving this challenge. The Enterprise Context Graph and the next-generation ‘Mentor’ provide companies with the context, connectivity, and control graphs and capabilities to effectively use agentic tools across complex systems.”
