Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson were left out of the royal family’s Easter celebrations.
After the former Duke of York and his ex-wife were stripped of their titles and evicted from Royal Lodge over their ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the two were noticeably absent from the church service at St George’s Chapel on the holiday.
Sarah and Andrew — who was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office — last attended the annual gathering in 2025.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were also absent.
While rumors swirled that the sisters had been asked not to attend any of The Firm’s events due to their parents’ scandal, Beatrice and Eugenie reportedly made alternative plans with King Charles III‘s understanding.
“The question is, would they want to go to a public event of that nature?” a source told HELLO!.
“They will get criticism whether they go or not — and not just that event. They just can’t win. Bea has found the scrutiny very hard, especially the strain of the past few weeks,” the insider explained.

The York family’s situation has only worsened after Andrew was taken into custody for allegedly giving Epstein confidential information during his time as the U.K.’s trade envoy.
The U.S. Department of Justice has also released additional documents connecting the 66-year-old and the former Duchess of York to the late criminal.
“They might be worried there are further damaging revelations to come,” royal expert Andrew Lownie told Daily Express.
Royal commentator Ingrid Seward emphasized how Andrew and Sarah’s actions are coming back to haunt their daughters.

“I’m sure they weren’t expecting it,” she told DailyMail.com. “It’s really embarrassing and distressing for them both.”
“All the doubts will have come crashing in — those holidays they had as children, the funds their father put in their bank account, all the lovely things they enjoyed,” the journalist said. “Sadly, they’re going to start doubting everything their father ever told them.”
