After a year’s absence in 2025, Croatia makes its return to the calendar of WRC this weekend, for the fourth round of the season, the second on asphalt after the Rally Monte Carlo. The opportunity to discover for the first time the 2026 version of Rally1 on a tarmac rally in rather hot conditions, the Monte Carlo having been marked by numerous snowfalls and black ice, which gave character to the race but which also perhaps made reading the hierarchy more difficult.
Nine Rally1 cars will take to the road starting this Thursday for the fourth round of the season, in a championship still led by Welshman Elfyn Evans. Having driven the opening round at the last event in Kenya, car number 33 may this time be able to take advantage of a more favorable starting position on the Croatian roads, as he will benefit from perfectly clean asphalt on the first day. Hayden Paddon will make his return to the… Hyundai after participating in the Monte Carlo Rally at the start of the season.
The 2026 Rally Croatia will be broadcast in its entirety on Canal+ Sport 360 channels, and in full live text on AUTOhebdo.fr, throughout the three days of racing.
