Baker Hughes announced Tuesday it has received an order from San Matias Pipeline S.A. for the supply of three gas compression units as part of a natural gas pipeline project in Argentina. The equipment includes three NovaLT™16 gas turbines and three centrifugal compressors, along with commissioning services, spare parts, special tools, and remote monitoring and diagnostic capabilities. The order reflects growing momentum in gas infrastructure projects across Latin America, where demand for high-efficiency, lower-emissions equipment is rising, as seen with the pressures bearing on regional gas supply chains in Brazil.
