Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is a free man once again.
In a post on his Instagram on Friday (April 3), 6ix9ine shared a video of him being released from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after serving three months behind bars for violating the conditions of his supervised release. He was greeted by celebrity jeweler Vobara, and boasted that he met the ousted Venezuelan president Nicolàs Maduro, who was arrested by U.S. operatives following a large-scale strike against the country in January.
He added that he got a signature from Maduro, who is also being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center, on his SpongeBob, which he affectionately refers to as “Sponge9ine.”
