ROME, N.Y. — Two people were arrested after a search at a Rome apartment turned up cocaine, crack cocaine and drug-related materials.
New York State Police said they executed a search warrant at 400 Lawrence St., 2nd Floor, in the City of Rome on April 9, with help from the Rome Police Department, Counter Terrorism Intelligence Unit-North and uniform members.
Police seized more than one-half ounce of cocaine, more than one-eighth ounce of crack cocaine, a cutting agent, drug packaging materials, a scale and a drug ledger.
Vicent N. Hobson, 32, of Rome, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Hobson was arraigned in Rome City Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail without bail.
Nihada Sabanagic, 32, of Rome, was also arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Sabanagic was given an appearance ticket for Rome City Court at a later date.
