I’m here (in le valais) and while the colours are stunning, it’s not like this haha, don’t overuse the filters and stuff. It takes out the realism and actually makes the photo worse.
This makes me think of nighttime shots of Kynance Cover in Cornwall, UK where the sea glows green and you can clearly make out the Milky Way.
I mean, it is a stunning place but it never looks like that.
I assume that’s what’s going on here with the colours.
So this is why the Swiss are so good at bobsleigh; They involuntarily do it everytime they leave their house in winter
This makes me realize we rarely see pictures of Switzerland in autumn getting posted. In fact it seems it’s mostly summer pics, which doesn’t make sense to me as it’s beautiful in all 4 seasons.

If you squint your eyes, you get Alpenflage camo.
It doesn’t even look real, it’s like a painting or something. Truly beautiful!

I live in Oberdorf, Nidwalden in the Swiss Alps and the colours look NOTHING like this 😂 Much more dark green / grey.
I was told every house in the Swiss Alps has a basement bunker basically, like a nuclear shelter…
This gives a more sinister look to this pic for me, the moreso with the cranked filters for some reason :).
Can some good natured Swiss confirm/deny this for me?
