Clanton, Ala. (WBRC) – Clanton Police say three people are in custody after a shooting at a business Friday afternoon.
Keyontay Jones, 23, of Clanton, Lashaundra Howard, 24, of Marbury, and Destiny Pitts, 23, of Marbury, are all facing charges related to a shooting at Kumi Manufacturing Alabama.
Police arrived at the manufacturing plant at 3:!5 p.m. Friday to search the surrounding area as both parties involved in the shooting left the scene afterwards.
Officers made contact with both parties near exit 205 of Interstate 65 where the three individuals were taken into custody.
They were placed in the Chilton County Jail on charges that include shooting into an occupied vehicle, reckless endangerment, menacing, third-degree assault and possession of marijuana.
Police say that the incident stemmed from a domestic argument that escalated. It did not involve the business or any of the people working there.
No one was injured as a result of the shooting.
