Low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced the introduction of a new seasonal service linking Bucharest with Dubrovnik, further strengthening its presence in the Croatian market, exyuaviation.com reported.

The new route will commence on 1 July and operate three times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, until 18 September.

Flights will be operated using the Airbus A321 aircraft, offering increased capacity during the peak summer travel period.

This latest addition marks the airline’s tenth new Croatian route this year and its fifth new service to Dubrovnik, underlining continued demand for travel to the popular Adriatic destination.

The Bucharest connection represents the second new route from Romania to Dubrovnik recently unveiled by Wizz Air. The carrier had previously confirmed the launch of flights from Cluj-Napoca, set to begin on 23 May.

Flight schedule

Outbound service (W43029) will depart Bucharest at 07:40, arriving in Dubrovnik at 08:05.

The return flight (W43030) will leave Dubrovnik at 08:50 and land back in Bucharest at 11:00.

All services will run on a Monday–Wednesday–Friday schedule throughout the summer season.

The expansion reflects a broader trend of increasing air links between Croatia and key European markets, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe. Dubrovnik continues to attract strong visitor numbers each summer, with airlines responding by adding capacity and new routes.
