Neiman will focus on partnering with early-stage founders often even before they have a business idea, and particularly around the next generation AI stack.
Neiman is very passionate about working with the best engineers, researchers and product managers, to brainstorm and help initiate and build the most important companies in the AI era. Neiman embodies our focus at Greylock – we are first believers and builders partnering with outlier founders, to build companies that matter.
Neiman joins Greylock from Amplify Partners where he was focused on AI. He has worked with high precision and judgement on identifying and building trusted relationships with many of the most important builders across AI.
Previously, Neiman worked on Schmidt Futures’ AI for Science fund, where he was part of a team identifying and philanthropically funding ambitious AI for science datasets and research projects. Neiman has been interested in science and technology since he was a teenager. He skipped college and instead worked at Hex Labs for several years, where he was part of an effort to use AI to develop new materials.
When we first met Neiman, we were struck by his obsession with startups and founders, his drive to be truth seeking, and his commitment to founders and company building. Neiman’s passion for startups and technology is complemented by his interests in hosting dinner parties, playing soccer in SF, and interior design.
