Can’t trust the germans. Can’t rely on the french.
Like it or not, you can only count on Uncle Sam.

Hence the new term “Sholzing”, dont get Sholtzed my friends!
And now you should explain what that Zeitenwende is. Because you didn’t even translate that term.
A cover.
That’s like a caption for an article. And we all know: To stop reading after the caption is a bad habit.
Although I’m sure the SPD has got a hard time to let go of the past and go full in. That’s my assumption and from what I’ve read so far I’m spot on.
I used to be very pro EU but our own (Ireland) and various eu politicians responses to what is an existential threat to not only our lives but our economies and our freedoms has made me ashamed and worried about future of EU, if can’t even remain United in face of such a weak, corrupt and incredibly evil regime that threatens everything eu stands for what is the purpose of EU
I feel let down by most of our politicians. The SPD does not want to let go of their principal of a strategic partnership with Russia. The CDU would never admit their own hypocrytical failure to see Russia the way it is: a imperialistical mafia in the form of state.
Like many I argued, sent message to the government, the parties, demanded weapons on social media, trying to fill the “Zeitenwende” word with some sense: help Ukraine & defeat totalitarianism.
They do not seem to understand.
Each and every Ukrainian who dies, who might not have died if the Ukrainian Army would have the amount of heavy artillery they would need to destroy the russian onslaught weighs heavily on our conscience.
Instead they talk to this murderer.
I still nourish hope and wait what will happen in June when Macron, Scholz and Draghi will visit Kyiv.
