ROME, N.Y. — A fight involving about eight people broke out at a business on Erie Boulevard West.
According to the Rome Police Department, units responded to 506 Erie Blvd. West, Stewart’s Shops, at about 7:42 a.m. on April 14.
Officers determined the situation was domestic and found that a 19-year-old man struck a 16-year-old girl.
Police identified the man as Anthony J. Potter of Rome.
Potter was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing governmental administration.
He was arraigned in Rome City Court and sent to Oneida County Jail.
