State investigators have charged an Upstate man for allegedly selling alcohol without a permit at his business in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said that in November 2025, an operation was conducted by agents regarding the unlawful sales of alcohol at a business in Myrtle Beach.The business in question is located at 6902 North Kings Highway Unit H, which is in a single-story strip mall in Myrtle Beach. According to Google and the store’s website, this is the address of the Myrtle Beach location of New York Butcher Shoppe, which is a franchised butcher shop that sells meats, cheeses and wines.The arrest warrant says that during the operation, wine was bought even though the location did not have a valid or current alcohol license/permit.The owner, identified as 33-year-old David Eidson Dukes of Greenville was charged with failure to secure a required beer or wine sale permit on Thursday, April 9, 2026.Dukes was booked into the J.
