Don’t we have the most progressive income tax in the OECD? As you earn more, the government takes a bigger and bigger cut. That’s how the state pays for things.
Presumably under our next government those taxes will increase further?
20% is a high income tax for Switzerland? Tax rates are different in each one. But yeah get the point the OP is making.
