Surely the examiner roles should be a mandatory part of the job for teachers
This happens every fucking year, and sometimes they end up highering people not even qualified to correct which causes controversy and remarking.
The money isn’t creating enough of incentive, and year on year it’s getting harder to get examiners, so might be an idea to increase the money until you have enough.
Maybe if they made it a normal 9-5 Monday to Friday job there just might be more interest. Afaik it works out as less than minimum wage with no weekends off for all of July why the fuck would you want to?
It’s their own fault for being poorly organised (and putting orals and practicals on during Easter). I would gladly take on 100-200 scripts but not the full whack for that much stress and eating into my personal time. If only they had common sense….
