LA CROSSE (WKBT) — University of Wisconsin-La Crosse students are taking center stage this afternoon with a showcase of original work.
The UWL Drama Club is presenting a series of student-written, directed and produced plays at the Frederick Theatre. The lineup features several original 10-minute productions, highlighting the creativity and talent of student performers and writers.
“I’m excited to see how people react to each of these plays, they’re all such wonderfully written plays, they’re all about experiences that we’ve had in college, so I think it will be really cool to be in the room and experience the energy as people experience them for the first time,” said Emma Reinhardt, co-president of UWL Drama Club.
The show is open to the public. Organizers say events like this give students a chance to bring their own stories to life.
