  1. Had the same shit happen yesterday in the parking at Tayto park, Fuck me there’s more bins there than the entirety of Dublin City centre and yet people still manage to still liter the place.

  2. Some scumbag keeps shitting in the woods near where I live and and leaving wads of loo roll stuck in the trees. I can’t walk there any more because I feel sick when I see one of their piles. My dog ate one once and I’m still not over it.

  3. A neighbour told me once that his cousin used to do this.
I straight up said to his face quite firmly “you’re cousin is a retard”.
He stood there silent for a good ten seconds. I think he was shocked. I didn’t break eye contact or say anything else. Eventually he looked to his feet and said “…I know “.

    True story.

  4. Sadly its like that almost everywhere in Dublin at the moment, I was in d18 it was kinda ok but now I am in Dublin 7 the street is soooooo full of trash. I guess the school near by does not help.

  5. I am in Bulgaria at the moment and was just noticing this morning how clean the streets are and the complete lack of scumbags roaming around the city. Makes me think twice about staying in Ireland to be honest. Love my country but fuck me it has become a dirty kip in the cities, not to mention the weather

  6. One thing I never understood about serial flytippers/litterers is how they all have the strength to lug around their drinks cans/food boxes/bottles when they’re completely full, but as soon as they’ve emptied out the contents the empty wastage becomes 1000 times heavier.
If you have the strength to carry a 6-pack of Heiniken or Bummers or a while rack of Smirnoff bottles up a mountain when they’re full, surely you can bring them back down when they’re empty??

  7. What a load of scum, you hate to see it, we need much great enforcement for catching and fining litterers and dumpers.

On an unrelated note what’s with everyone talking about “trash” and “garbage” ITT? The inexorable tide of americanisation continues

  8. There might be a timestamp on the label of the deli food. Or maybe even a receipt. Someone I know brought a receipt to the local shop and they were able to pinpoint who it was that bought the items and the guards got involved and done them for littering
