A period of jail a large fine and denial of all publicly funded services after jail would be nice.
There is zero excuse for. Pulling a knife or assaulting someone that is doing what they can to help.
As do most public facing roles – only with the added pressure of high expectations, a sometimes fairly demanding cross section of society and with many patients/customers who may be dealing with all kinds of health stresses and concerns…
This is the symptom of the Tories fucking with healthcare.
My local pharmacy recently has had a lot of problems with members of the public waltzing in and demanding prescription-only medication right at that moment. They’re now review bombed on Google and everywhere else because they wouldn’t just give out some drugs for somebody’s sick son, and the community FB group (which is hell at the best of times) kicked off about it.
The staff get abuse on a daily basis, including physical threats. I get that some of these people are very unwell, but that’s no excuse for this kind of entitled abusive behaviour.
I went to my local pharmacy and it was full smackheads loudly playing music out loud on there phones (obviously the latest mc/new monkey) waiting for there fix of methadone, they where drinking jack Daniels and passing ecstasy around like they were having a little party, they where even kind enough to randomly advise me where the local prostitutes.
Pharmacy’s are wild, it was surreal only in the uk !
