Face mask rules scrapped across hospitals in major change to Covid-19 guidelines

  1. I think this is a bad idea. Not because of covid, but because I know of hospital managers that say all infection rates in hospitals have plummeted. Maybe they should be as sterile areas as they can make them?

  2. Was hoping masks would continue indefinitely in hospitals in public areas.

So many immune compromised people there.

  3. It just seems like such a no-brainer to keep masks in hospitals, certainly in corridors and common areas, because…you know… they’re full of both people with horrible contagious diseases and people who are very vulnerable to horrible contagious diseases. And what’s the harm, genuinely?
